Minister of Lands, Hon. Deogratius John Ndejembi, has assured Yanga SC members that the title deed for the land allocated for the club’s new stadium will be handed over within 14 days.
Ndejembi made the announcement during the club’s Annual General Meeting held at the Super Dome in Masaki, Dar es Salaam.
Following the minister’s remarks, Yanga president Eng. Hersi Said confirmed that once the title deed is received, the construction process of the stadium will begin immediately. He pledged to members that the stadium project is a personal commitment and vowed not to leave office until the promise has been fulfilled.
The process follows the approval by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, H.E. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, to expand the land allocated for the stadium, which will accommodate approximately 30,000 fans.
