Tanzania’s national football team, Taifa Stars, will be in action tonight at 9:00 PM when they take on Congo Brazzaville in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
The Group E clash will be played at the Alphonse Massamba-Debat Stadium in Brazzaville.
Tanzania currently sits second in Group E with 9 points, behind leaders Morocco who top the group with 15 points.
Morocco are favorites to qualify directly from Group E, but there also remains an opportunity to qualify through the play-off route.
Africa has nine direct qualification slots, with the group winners advancing automatically. Additionally, the four best-performing runners-up will enter the play-offs for a chance to secure one extra World Cup spot.
