Today, the Christ the Redeemer monument in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, welcomed Hersi Said, President of Yanga Club, one of Tanzania’s biggest football teams and a prominent symbol of sports in Africa.
During his visit, Hersi enjoyed the captivating sunset at Christ the Redeemer, learned about the social projects carried out by the monument, and shared experiences regarding the state of football in Tanzania.
As a gesture of friendship, Yanga presented an official jersey signed by all the club’s players, which will be auctioned to support social projects.
