Yanga midfielders Moussa Balla Conte and Duke Abuya have been included in their respective national squads for the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
Conte has been named in the Guinea squad, while Abuya is the only player from the Tanzanian Premier League called up by Kenya.
More Yanga stars are expected to receive national team call-ups, including goalkeeper Djigui Diarra (Mali) and Prince Dube (Zimbabwe).
Meanwhile, Dickson Job, Ibrahim Bacca, Mohammed Hussein, Mudathir Yahya, and Clement Mzize—who were part of the Taifa Stars squad at the 2024 CHAN tournament—are also expected to be included in Tanzania’s squad for the World Cup qualifier against Niger on September 9.
