Yanga SC manager, Walter Harrison, has made it clear that the team’s preparations for the 2025/26 season are progressing with great success.
The squad is currently in camp at Avic Town, entering its third official day of training after beginning preparations at the KMC Complex.
Harrison emphasized that pre-season is the foundation of a team’s success, as it builds the players’ physical, mental, and tactical strength ahead of a long competitive season.
“We’ve had good moments since we began our pre-season, and today we are on our third day here at Avic Town. This is a preparation period, and the players know it’s not an easy time for them,” said Harrison.
He explained that the training sessions have varied in intensity, but the players have shown great discipline and endurance, understanding the importance of this phase.
In addition, Harrison did not hesitate to commend head coach Romain Folz and his technical bench for the hard work they are putting in to ensure the team is ready for competition.
“In today’s football world, young coaches are in high demand. Romain is the type of coach whose whole life revolves around football. When he wakes up in the morning, it’s all about football, and even outside the pitch, he’s on his computer preparing training programs or engaging in crucial strategic meetings,” he said.
Harrison concluded by expressing strong optimism that by the start of the season, Yanga will be ready to achieve its goals and remain a formidable force in football both domestically and internationally.
