Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has urged Tanzanians to turn up in large numbers at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Friday, August 22, for the CHAN quarterfinal match against Morocco.
Speaking during a special mobilization meeting ahead of this historic game for Tanzania, Kamwe said it is the duty of every Tanzanian to support the national team with the goal of reaching the semifinals.
Kamwe also unveiled a special slogan for the occasion: “HII NIMO…!”
“Going into this match, we are moving with the slogan HII NIMO. Any Tanzanian listening, if you missed the last game, say HII NIMO and make sure you tell your neighbor as well,” he said.
“Tickets have already gone on sale today online and at outlets. Let’s not wait until Friday to start scrambling for them.”
“Let’s send Morocco a message that we truly want this match. We have already filled this stadium many times, let’s go and show that we are ready.”
“I believe Tanzanians will unite in this, and on Friday we will come out in large numbers to support our team,” Kamwe added.
