According to the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS), Tanzania Mainland champions Yanga SC have remained among the top 10 best-performing clubs in Africa over the past year.
In the rankings ending July 2025, Yanga holds 9th place with 115 points, while their arch-rivals Simba SC are in 10th place with 114 points.
Pyramids FC, last season’s CAF Champions League winners, top the list, followed by Al Ahly and RS Berkane.
