The unveiling of Mohamed Doumbia yesterday marked the completion of Yanga’s foreign signings in this transfer window.
Yanga has added five foreign players: Moussa Balla Conte, Andy Boyeli, Lassine Kouma, Ecua Celestin, and Doumbia.
As for local players introduced so far, they include Offen Chikola, Aboubakar Nidhar Othman 'Ninju', and Mohamed Abdallah 'Casemiro'.
Yanga has not yet concluded its announcements and could close this transfer window with the unveiling of left-back Mohamed Hussein 'Zimbwe Jr', the former Simba captain.
Yanga has already completed the signing of Zimbwe Jr, who recently impressed in the CHAN tournament opener for Tanzania’s Taifa Stars against Burkina Faso by scoring in a 2-0 win.
In total, Yanga has bolstered its squad with nine new signings this window.
Departing players include Kennedy Musonda, Clatous Chama, Stephane Aziz Ki, Khalid Aucho, and Jonathan Ikangalombo—who is currently in discussions with Yanga’s management regarding a possible loan move or contract termination.
On the local front, Yanga has confirmed the departure of Jonas Mkude, who is reportedly set to join Singida Black Stars.
