Yanga SC has announced the signing of skillful midfielder Mohamed Doumbia, an Ivorian national.
The talented player, who previously featured for FC Majestic of Burkina Faso and Slovan Liberec of the Czech Republic, is likely the first official signing for Yanga in the current transfer window.
His move was made possible by Stephanie Aziz Ki, who, while in the process of joining Wydad, informed Yanga President Engineer Hersi Said about Doumbia's quality—despite the fact that he had been out of action for a while due to a contractual dispute.
After receiving the tip, Hersi contacted the player and arranged for his arrival in Dar es Salaam. Upon landing, Doumbia was given the chance to train with the team before being officially signed.
Doumbia is a versatile midfielder capable of playing in positions 6, 8, and 10.
Welcome to Jangwani, Doumbia...!
