It’s official—Yanga SC has announced the signing of striker Andy Boyeli from DR Congo, who was previously playing for Sekhukhune United in South Africa.
Yanga’s new head coach, Romain Folz, recommended the signing of the striker, who scored seven goals in the South African Premier League last season for Sekhukhune.
In the 2022/23 season, Boyeli played for Power Dynamos in Zambia, where he won the Golden Boot with 18 goals and was also named MVP.
Boyeli comes in as a direct replacement for Kennedy Musonda, who left for Israel after his contract expired.
