After taking a break yesterday, Yanga SC is expected to resume unveiling new signings who have joined the reigning champions of Tanzania.
Yanga’s Communications and Media Manager, Ali Kamwe, explained that the pause was to honor their partnership with Safari Lager, as the Safari Lager Cup final festivities were held at KMC Complex and concluded with a match between the Safari Lager Talents and Yanga — which ended in a 1-0 win for Yanga.
Yanga is a key partner in Safari Lager’s nationwide talent scouting program, which formed the team that faced them in the final.
Kamwe stated that Yanga will continue introducing new players with just a few days left before preseason preparations begin.
“The unveiling of players will continue on Sunday (today), following the conclusion of the Safari Lager Cup finals, where we are the main partner of the event,” said Kamwe.
“We don’t hide our signings like they’re illegal, and we see no need for unnecessary showmanship off the pitch.”
“We’ve done quality signings, and we believe every player we’ve brought in will prove it on the field,” he added.
So far, Yanga has unveiled four new players: Moussa Balla Conte, Abdulnasir Mohammed ‘Casemiro’, Offen Chikola, and Lassine Kouma.
