Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has confirmed that the club has completed all its transfer dealings in this window. The focus is now solely on unveiling new signings and players who have extended their contracts before the Tanzanian champions head into pre-season.
This statement officially shuts down ongoing rumors linking Azam FC midfielder Feisal Salum ‘Fei Toto’ with a return to Yanga.
Kamwe also revealed that jersey number 6 — formerly worn by Feisal before being handed to Skudu Makudubela — has already been assigned to a new player for the upcoming season.
"We have concluded our transfer business, so I can assure you that Feisal Salum will not be signed by Yanga," Kamwe stated.
"Jersey number 6 was unused last season, but it will be back in action next season with a new player," he added.
So far, Yanga has unveiled four new signings: Moussa Balla Conte (defensive midfielder), Abdulnasir Mohammed 'Casemiro' (defensive midfielder), Offen Chikola (attacking midfielder), and Lassine Kouma (central attacking midfielder).
Additional signings awaiting official unveiling include Aboubakar Nidhar Otham (center back), Celestin Ecua (attacking midfielder), Mohamed Doumbia (central midfielder), Mohammed Hussein (left back), and Andy Boyeli (center forward).
