Yanga SC's Head of Media and Communications, Ali Kamwe, has declared that attacking midfielder Pacome Zouzoua will play for only one club in Tanzania—Yanga SC.
During this transfer window, there have been numerous rumors surrounding the future of the potential NBC Premier League MVP, with some claiming that Pacome has not renewed his contract with Yanga. Others have gone further, alleging he has already signed with their archrivals, Simba SC.
Kamwe dismissed those rumors, stating that as far as he knows, Pacome will only play for Yanga in Tanzania. He added that clubs dreaming of having him will have to find creative alternatives.
“When you hear Pacome being linked to other clubs, it just means he’s a great player. But for now, all those who want Pacome, the only help we can offer them is a can of bleach,” Kamwe said jokingly.
“They can find one of their own players, bleach them to look like Pacome. But as for the real Zouzoua, I don’t see him playing for any other team in Tanzania besides Yanga SC.”
“For anyone who desires anything related to Pacome, my contact is available—DM me and order a Pacome-branded bleach can. You can apply it on your players and feel like you have Pacome,” Kamwe boasted.
It is reported that Yanga secured Pacome’s contract extension early, before he returned to Ivory Coast for his off-season break.
Alongside Pacome, Dickson Job, Maxi Nzengeli, and Duke Abuya have all extended their contracts to continue serving the Jangwani giants.
