Singida BS midfielder Damaro Camara, who changed his nationality to become Tanzanian, is among the players recommended for signing by former Yanga coach Miloud Hamdi in his report, aiming to strengthen the defensive midfield position.
Despite having completed the signing of Moussa Balla Conte, Yanga is still pushing to secure Damaro, although his current club Singida BS has set a high transfer fee for his move.
It is reported that Yanga has already reached personal terms with Damaro; what remains is an agreement between Yanga and Singida BS regarding the cost to buy out his remaining contract.
Damaro was one of the standout performers for Singida BS in the recently concluded season.
Meanwhile, Singida BS is said to be in the process of signing midfielder Idrissa Diomande from Zoman FC. The completion of that deal could ease Yangaβs efforts to sign Damaro.
