The climax of Rayon Day will be on August 15, when Yanga will travel to Rwanda to mark the occasion with a friendly match against hosts Rayon Sports.
Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, confirmed the match after receiving official communication from the Rayon Sports team.
Kamwe stated that Yanga, under their new coach, will begin preparations at the start of August, with approximately two weeks of training before the match.
"The match against Rayon Sports is set for August 15. We will conduct a major awareness campaign to ensure that Yanga fans travel to Rwanda in large numbers," said Kamwe.
"From July 20 to August 3 will be the period when we introduce our squad – including players who have left, those who have renewed their contracts, and the new signings."
"Once that process is complete, the team will commence preparations under our new coach," he added.
"Fans and members of Yanga should expect to see a new Yanga on August 15. We will head to Rwanda with the operational theme of TESTING," Kamwe concluded.
