Yanga’s Media and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, has revealed that the club is fortunate this season to have received three squad assessment reports from former coaches in preparation for the 2025/26 season.
The coaches who submitted the reports are Miguel Gamondi, Sead Ramovic, and Miloud Hamdi. Kamwe stated that after receiving the reports, the club's first step was to urgently look for a new coach who aligns with Yanga’s philosophy.
He explained that the new coach has already been identified and has been handed all three reports for evaluation, with the goal of strengthening the squad ahead of the upcoming season.
However, Kamwe noted that the club will not announce the coach just yet, to avoid unnecessary pressure during the ongoing transfer window.
He also disclosed that the coach is already in the country and is working closely with the management on squad improvements.
Kamwe called on members and fans to fully participate in the **TOFALI LA UBINGWA** campaign, which aims to raise funds for signing top-tier players based on the new coach’s recommendations.
The campaign was launched earlier today in Dar es Salaam, with the goal of having at least one million members each contribute Tsh 24,000.
