After several weeks of negotiations, midfielder Khalid Aucho has agreed to a one-year contract extension to continue playing for Yanga SC, it has been confirmed.
Aucho, one of Yanga’s key players, remains central to the club’s plans as they prepare for another competitive season.
Despite the club's intention to strengthen the squad during this transfer window, Yanga’s top priority has been to retain all essential players whose contracts have expired.
Alongside Aucho, players like Dickson Job, Mudathir Yahya, Pacome Zouzoua, Duke Abuya, and Maxi Nzengeli are also out of contract, and the club has taken active steps to keep them in the squad.
Aucho has served Yanga for four seasons, winning four Premier League titles, four FA Cups, and three Community Shields. He was also part of the team that reached the final of the CAF Confederation Cup and the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League.
