Zambian striker Kennedy Musonda has officially bid farewell to the fans and members of Yanga SC after two and a half seasons with the Tanzanian giants.
Musonda’s contract has come to an end, capping a spell in which he helped Yanga win three Premier League titles, two FA Cups, and two Community Shields.
In a heartfelt message on his Instagram page, Musonda expressed gratitude and said goodbye to the club’s fans:
"Wananchi, I don't even know what to say. You've been amazing to me, my family, and my dream. Thank you for laughing with me, dreaming with me, winning with me, and also crying with me."
"Someone once said every good story must come to an end. I will forever be grateful. I leave to try a new chapter elsewhere," he wrote.
During his time at Yanga, Musonda scored 34 goals and provided 13 assists, helping the club reach the CAF Confederation Cup final and the CAF Champions League quarter-finals.
