Yanga SC is reported to have finalized the signing of attacking midfielder Offen Chikola from Tabora United.
Chikola is expected to join Yanga as a free agent after his contract with Tabora United came to an end.
Last season was an outstanding one for Chikola, as he scored 8 goals, finishing as the top scorer for Tabora United.
His signing is part of Yanga’s strategy to boost competition in the attacking midfield, with the player capable of operating both as a winger and a number 10.
Additionally, Chikola is expected to fill the gap left by Farid Mussa, whose contract with Yanga has expired. Mbeya City is currently pushing to sign Farid, who missed most of last season due to injury.
