Yanga SC continues intense preparations at the KMC Complex field, placing strong emphasis on finishing the season with a bang.
Although there has been confusion surrounding the derby match against Simba SC, the tension has not affected the morale and determination of coach Miloud Hamdi’s squad in any way.
The Yanga squad has shown great unity and solidarity in training, aiming to defend both remaining titles: the Tanzania Premier League and the CRDB Cup.
The team’s stars are displaying a strong hunger for success during training, a clear indication that the Jangwani boys are gearing up to end the season powerfully and safeguard both trophies.
Yanga manager Walter Harrison stated that preparations are ongoing with great focus and are not being disrupted by the current derby-related tension.
“We are fully preparing; we cannot allow off-field matters to interfere with our readiness. We must be ready whenever the team is required to step onto the field,” said Harrison confidently.
Yanga is expected to play against Tanzania Prisons on June 18, before facing Dodoma Jiji in the season's final match.
However, the fate of these two matches remains uncertain, depending on the decisions regarding the derby match against Simba. If Yanga’s conditions are not met, the Jangwani giants might end the season without playing these final two games.
