After participating in a special meeting with the Tanzania Premier League Board (TPLB) aimed at resolving the dispute over match number 184 between Yanga and Simba—which was initially scheduled for March 8—Yanga Sports Club has reiterated its decision not to play the rescheduled match set for June 15.
A statement released by Yanga shortly after the meeting, which was led by Vice President Arafat Haji, emphasized that the club remains firm in its stance not to participate on June 15 until the demands they submitted to the Board on March 9 are addressed.
Yanga has extended its best wishes to TPLB and TFF in working towards resolving the issues to end the conflict surrounding the match.
