In efforts to develop and promote youth football in the country, Yanga SC, in collaboration with Safari Lager, has officially appointed the club’s former player, Saimon Msuva, as the Chief Scout for the Safari Lager Cup tournament.
Msuva will join officials from Yanga and Safari Lager to officially launch the talent scouting activities on May 30, 2025, in Mwanza.
The Safari Lager Cup tournament was officially launched on May 7, 2025, with the aim of providing a platform for young players to showcase their football talent. Yanga SC, as the official partner of the tournament, is committed to supporting these efforts through its close collaboration with Safari Lager.
In his new role, Saimon Msuva will lead a team of scouting experts. They will tour various regions across the country, assessing young players with the goal of forming a special Safari Lager team, which will play a friendly match against Yanga SC at the end of the scouting program.
Saimon Msuva is a highly respected name in Yanga SC’s history. He made a significant contribution to the club’s success before moving abroad to pursue his professional football career.
