Yanga Head Coach Miloud Hamdi has made it clear that his goal is to ensure his team wins the remaining two trophies to finish the season with four titles.
Despite not performing well in the CAF Champions League, Yanga has had a good campaign in domestic competitions so far.
The Wananchi already have two trophies in the cabinet — the Community Shield and the Union League — and are currently at the top of the NBC Premier League standings and have reached the final of the CRDB Cup.
Hamdi, who has not lost a single match since taking over as head coach of Yanga, stated that they must avoid making any mistakes in the final matches of the season.
"We are happy to be going into the break while leading the league, but we are also in the final of the CRDB Cup. Let me just say, the job is not yet done."
"The final matches are of special importance, and we must not make mistakes. We know the fate of defending the title is in our hands — if we don't make mistakes, we will be champions."
"It was also important to win the match against JKT Tanzania and reach the FA Cup final. We have another opportunity to defend the FA title once again," said Hamdi.
Yanga players have been given a short break and will return to camp on June 1 in preparation for the season’s final matches.
