Yanga’s midfielders Pacome Zouzoua and Khalid Aucho are among the players included in the squad that traveled to Tanga region for the CRDB Cup semifinal match against JKT Tanzania, scheduled to be played on Sunday, May 18 at Mkwakwani Stadium.
Despite recovering from injury challenges, Yanga’s coach Miloud Hamdi did not use these players in the recent Premier League match against Namungo FC, in which Yanga secured a 3-0 victory.
Yanga’s team manager Walter Harrison has confirmed that the stars are fit and ready to be used in Sunday’s match.
Aucho and Pacome are key players in coach Hamdi’s squad, and he has repeatedly admitted that he is often forced to change tactics when they are unavailable.
However, the depth of the squad has continued to benefit Yanga, as under Hamdi, the team has won 13 out of 14 matches, drawing only one.
Hamdi has had the freedom to rotate his squad without affecting the team’s quality.
