As the 2024/25 Premier League season draws to a close, Yanga already have a ticket to participate in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League
With 70 points at the top of the league standings, Yanga have ensured themselves of finishing the season in the top two positions and thus automatically securing a ticket to participate in the tournament
Yanga's Media and Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has revealed that after what happened this season, they have started the process of improving the squad early to ensure that next season they have a better team that will perform better
Kamwe said the first step is for the leadership to work on the technical bench's recommendations by extending contracts for players whose contracts are coming to an end but are in Mwalimu's plans
But scouts are also already in the market looking for new players to be signed
