Yanga management has given a two-week break to the Yanga Princess squad after the Women's Premier League was suspended for about a month
Yanga Princess coordinator, Kibwana Matokeo, said the break was given since last week (March 31), and they will return to camp on April 15 for the season-ending matches
The team is in third place in the standings with 33 points, playing 15 matches, winning 10 matches, drawing three and losing two.
Matokeo said some players did not celebrate the holiday with their families, which is also the reason for giving the break
"The players are on holiday until the 15th when they will begin preparations to finish the league, there is great importance in giving the players a break due to what they do on the field and their bodies also need a break," said Kibwana
