After returning from Singida where they participated in the launch of the Airtel Stadium owned by Singida Black Stas on Monday, the Yanga squad is back in training in preparation for the next matches
On Saturday, March 29, Yanga will travel to the KMC Complex to face Songea United in the round of 16 match of the CRDB Federation Cup before heading to Tabora to face Tabora United in the Premier League match to be played on April 1
Yanga's Media and Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has said that they are currently focusing their efforts on the match against Songea United, needing to win to advance to the quarter-finals of the CRDB Cup
"Our match against Songea United, our members and fans should not expect to see major changes in the first team as the players who will be used are those who have shown effort on the training ground and convinced coach that they are sufficient for the match plans"
"Right now we do not have time to underestimate opponent, our goals are leading us to increase our focus and be ready to fight against any opponent that comes our way."
"Let me tell Songea United, they are coming to face Yanga having the aim of defending the CRDB Federation title for the fourth consecutive season"
Kamwe said all players in the squad are continuing with the team's training programs except Yao Kouassi who is still doing special individual training programs to restore physical fitness before starting training with other players.
