Yanga Media and Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has said he has not received any suspension from the Ethics Committee, urging Yanga fans and members to ignore the rumors circulating on social media.
Kamwe said after the rumour spread, Yanga made efforts to find out the truth but the authorities confirmed that they did not release the information.
"There is no truth to the information and I do not know what the intention of those who spread it was. The club made efforts to find out the truth and it has been established that there is no truth."
"I believe that the authorities responsible for social media (TCRA) can take action against those who spread this information."
"It is information that has brought me great challenges because since yesterday I was forced to stay in the hospital after my mother had a problem," said Kamwe.
Kamwe also said it has been a difficult week for him as his case before the Ethics Committee has disrupted the plans for the game's enthusiasm against Simba
"We planned to start the campaign for the game against Simba on Monday but it was not possible because the case was heard over two days, Monday and Tuesday"
"It was on Wednesday night that the news spread that I had been suspended, so you will see how much this has disrupted our campaign plans," added Kamwe
