Yanga's Media and Communications Manager Ali Kamwe has said that preparations for the Premier League match against Simba to be played tomorrow, Saturday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium are progressing well with the players in high spirits heading into the match.
After rumours of suspension, Kamwe appeared at Avic Town yesterday evening to witness training alongside other senior Yanga leaders led by club President Engineer Hersi Said and Yanga's Sponsor, GSM.
Kamwe said Yanga is going into the match at a good time as every player is ready and 'wants the game'.
"The team is ready, every player is in high spirits heading into this very important match for us. I am not someone who just talks to please people but with the preparations I have seen here, let me just tell you that they will have work to do on Saturday."
"When the environment is like this here at Avic Town, then you know that the people go "Our players are ready, now it is our responsibility as fans to ensure that we buy tickets in large numbers to increase their motivation so that they can be sure that we win the game," said Kamwe. GSM's motto is always Yanga Bingwa. To ensure that this motto is fulfilled for the fourth consecutive season, GSM yesterday set up camp at Avic Town to witness every step of the preparations for the game against Simba.
