Yanga Information and Communications Manager, Ali Kamwe, said they have sat with the players and agreed that they will play tomorrow's match if there is no other game they will play again because it will be the stage for them to move ahead of the championship, otherwise they will have put themselves in a bad situation
Kamwe said that when the players encouraged each other to 'die on the field' in the match, he asked Yanga fans to come out in large numbers to cheer them on and give them motivation and make the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium like a 'fire oven' for the opponents
He said it is not interesting for a club like Yanga, which last season reached the quarter-final stage, to be at the bottom of the group due to collecting only one point after playing three games
TP Mazembe landed in the country early yesterday ready for the fourth round game, after a 1-1 draw in Lubumbashi, on December 14, last year
