League Board Information Officer Karim Boimanda has said that Yanga decision to change the stadium from Azam Complex to KMC Complex is correct according to the rules
Boimanda said TPLB has received Yanga's request and what is awaited is the Board's decision
Boimanda has mentioned Rule 9(4) as giving the right to Yanga and other teams that do not have their own stadium to move as long as they did not have an agreement with the owners
"On November 10 the Board received Yanga's request to change the stadium from Azam Complex when they were playing before and asked to move to KMC Complex. Their request falls under rule 9(4)"
"The regulation gives Yanga and other teams that do not have their own stadium the right to move if they do not have an agreement with the owners"
"According to that rule, the team is allowed to find a field within the relevant region or a neighboring region, the main condition is that the field must meet the criteria"
"Before making decisions the first thing to look at is the rules and as I said their request falls under rule 9(4)"
"So let me just say that until now the Board has not yet responded to those requests due to operational procedures where when they are completed they will be notified," said Boimanda
