Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said that his team is in Zanzibar for one job only, to ensure that they win the Premier League game against Singida Black Stars and return to Dar es Salaam with three points.
Yanga arrived in Zanzibar earlier today ready for the game that will be played tomorrow, Wednesday October 30 at the New Amaan Complex
Speaking at the press conference before the game, Gamondi thanked the Yanga fans for increasing their enthusiasm every time they go to play
Gamondi has said that in 21 days his team has played 7 matches, it is not an easy schedule for them but they have received great support from their fans and give them strength every time they go on the field
"First of all I am happy to be back here in Zanzibar, every time Yanga goes it depends on victory, we are here to win even though we realize Singida have a good squad and they have had a long time to prepare"
"We have played 7 games in 21 days, it is not easy to prepare in this environment. The biggest challenge we face is not only many games in a short time but the fatigue of the journey. We have come from Arusha, before that most of my players were outside the borders of Tanzania. Today we are here and after tomorrow we have to return to Dar".
"The good thing for us is the great enthusiasm of the fans because everywhere we go it's like we are at home. I personally congratulate and thank our fans everywhere in Tanzania who have been supporting their club every time they play in their areas. Every time we go there is a full house . Others are coming to receive us at the airport. This brings great enthusiasm," said Gamondi Yanga will complete its final preparations at the New Amaan Complex field, tonight ready for the match
