Despite the quality, in recent seasons Yanga has been criticized more for failing to make good use of free kicks
If you leave out the direct kicks that Stephane Aziz Ki has scored several times and even Clatous Chama, it is very rare for Yanga to score through corner kicks or other indirect kicks
Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has revealed that a lot of work has been done in the training ground and so this season Yanga has planned to score many goals through those balls
To demonstrate, defender Ibrahim Bacca has already scored two goals finishing off free kicks
Gamondi has said that he has discovered in the Premier League of Tanzania Mainland, there are many foul balls available, but they have not been used properly, so he has developed special training for his stars so that they can score goals that way
"Currently we have learned how to score goals through fouls, we have practiced everything, in the Tanzanian league the players commit too many fouls, if they are used properly, we can score many goals and that is what I am doing now," said Gamondi
