Information from within the Zanzbar Football Federation (ZFF), has confirmed that preparations have begun after receiving confirmation from the African Football Confederation (CAF) which has informed them about the game being played in Zanzibar
ZFF General Secretary, Hussein Ahmada has said that ZFF and its stakeholders have already started preparations to receive the game which will determine the future of Yanga in pursuit of the record of playing in the Champions League groups for the second time in a row.
"It is true that CAF have already informed us that this game will be played at our New Amaan stadium as requested by the Yanga host team"
"We as ZFF first of all thank Yanga for that patriotic decision, Zanzibar is a place that has many fans but also those who will come from the continent here are easy to get to"
