Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has set a strategy to ensure his team wins in Ethiopia in the first round game of the champions league against CBE SA which will be played on September 13 at the Abebe Bikila stadium
Despite the challenge of preparing for the game if half of his squad is missing, the players going to the duties of the national teams, Gamondi has said that they will go to Ethiopia with only one goal, to win
"We have goals as a team to advance to the group stage, so we should get good results away from home and finish the job here at home"
"We don't know our opponents very well but the important thing is for us to prepare on our side, knowing the opponent is only a small part of the preparation"
"We have 14 players called up to their national teams so they will not be part of our preparations but we will join them two to three days before the match," said Gamondi
CBA eliminated Uganda's SC Villa with a 3-2 aggregate victory where the Ethiopians won 2-1 away and were forced to draw 1-1 at home
Yanga will travel to Ethiopia for the first leg match to be played on September 13-15 and the second leg to be played in Tanzania on September 20-22
The game may be played at the New Amaan Complex in the islands of Zanzibar
