Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has said striker Clement Mzize is still growing so there is no reason to put him under a lot of pressure this time
Mzize has continued to be trusted by Gamondi where in the two Mpumalanga Cup matches that Yanga played against Augsburg and TS Galaxy, he started in the first team ahead of new strikers Jean Baleke and Prince Dube
Despite the criticism he faces from fans due to his effectiveness in front of goal, Gamondi said Mzize does a lot of good things when he is on the field
"I always say people should not look at Mzize by using only the position, this is a young man who we continue to improve but there are many great things he is doing on the field that the fans may not see"
"That's why you see that we continue to use him because the more he continues to play, the more he will continue to improve and correct what he seems to be doing incorrectly this time," said Gamondi
In the last season, Mzize was involved in 12 goals for Yanga in the league, scoring six and providing six assists
Mzize also emerged as the top scorer in the CRDB Federation Cup, scoring five goals
