Yanga Legal Director Simon Patrick has advised the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) on the steps they can take to control the tide of players leaving their teams with contracts because they are 'unhappy'
Through his social network page, Simon has written;
"These challenges of players with contracts to escape from their teams are the result of fandom and our analysts. Currently, there is a wave of players to escape and some have contracts with more than one team claiming that they are unhappy and are going to find best opportunity
My advice to BMT to save our football is to set a rule that forces any player with a contract to move from one club to another there must be a confirmed Transfer Agreement or Mutual Termination Agreement and BMT and paid stamp duty (Stamp Duty)
If any player or team violates it, then that player should not be allowed to play in the country. Without that step, the conflicts of players with contracts will never end and TFF will continue to complain in vain
NB: Since we have already agreed that if the player is unhappy, he should be allowed to leave, Rasta should not be touched, let him enjoy.."
