Yanga attacking midfielder Clatous Chama has thanked the fans and members of Yanga for his kind welcome
Yesterday Yanga introduced the Party with an official identity after previously introducing him through pictures of signing the contract
Chama has said that he is happy with how the Citizens received him and promised to do great things for them in the field
"I am happy to join this biggest team in Tanzania. I thank the people for their reception, I have really been well received"
"I won't talk much at the moment but I promise you, they will be happy on the field," said Chama
After his registration was announced last week, the people led by the club spokesman Ali Kamwe marched in the streets to celebrate his registration
If that was not enough, a special cake-eating event was held at the Yanga Headquarters, Jangwani, where 17 cakes were eaten by the people as a sign of welcoming the Party and prefers to wear jersey number 17
The association has already joined the Yanga squad that started pre-season preparations. Yanga is expected to go to South Africa next week to prepare for the Toyota Cup where they will face Kaizer Chiefs on July 28.
