Tanzania Mainland football champions Yanga have negotiated with Singida Fountain Gate to sign goalkeeper Khomeini Abubakari who has one year remaining on his contract at the club
Khomein joined Singida Fountain Gate from Geita Gold where in the 2022/23 season he was in the top three contenders for the best goalkeeper award
Yanga has already parted with goalkeeper Metacha Mnata after his one-and-a-half-year contract expired
Yesterday Yanga also announced a two-year contract extension for goalkeeper number one Djigui Diarra, while goalkeeper number two Aboutwalib Mshery is also expected to sign a new contract
It is clear that Khomein will inherit the portfolios left by Metacha
