After successfully defending the Premier League title and the CRDB Confederation Cup, Yanga has planned to make further improvements to ensure that it continues its dominance in domestic football and to do better in the international competition of the African Champions League next season
>For the third season in a row, Yanga is the main league champion and will represent Tanzania in the African Champions League
Last season, Yanga was eliminated in the competition organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa at the quarter-final stage
Information and Communication Manager, Ally Kamwe, said there will be important improvements in each department so that they do well in all the competitions they will participate in 2024/25
He never said that they know that African club level competition is difficult, so they don't want to 'end up' on the road again and they want to give Tanzania respect
"Every season we have our goals, we plan well for the African Champions League, we want to do better, we want to show that we didn't do well last season unfortunately"
"The player that Yanga needs, we will not leave him, but we will improve our team with the recommendations of our coach, we want to have Yanga a more threat than this, the Yanga people will be happy next season," said Kamwe
After the season comes to an end, the players are expected to be given a whole month's rest and are expected to return at the beginning of July ready to start preparations for 2024/25
