President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Patrice Motsepe has said that he believes the goal scored by Yanga in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Mamelodi Sundowns was legitimate
Motsepe spoke about this earlier today in the Islands of Zanzibar where he attended a special CAF school competition
"I know as the President of CAF I should not interfere with football systems and I respect decisions but in my opinion that is a goal"
"After the game between Mamelodi Sundowns and Yanga in South Africa, I told TFF President Wallace Karia that it was a legitimate goal," said Motsepe
Yanga was eliminated from the CAF CL quarter-finals on penalty kicks after a draw against Mamelodi
Perhaps the Citizens deserved to advance instead of Mamelodi if they were not denied that goal by Stephanie Aziz Ki
