After the 1-0 victory against Kagera Sugar, the Head Coach of Yanga, Miguel Gamondi has asked his players to focus and not underestimate the opponent in the remaining games to conclude the Tanzania Mainland Premier League this season
Gamondi has admitted that currently every game is difficult due to the importance of three points for each team, so they should be careful in every game, especially the one they will play away from home
Yanga has four games left to finish the league where they will play two games away against Mtibwa Sugar and Dodoma Jiji and two games they will play at home against Tabora United and Tanzania Prisons
Gamondi has said that the remaining games are very important for them but they will not be easy games due to their opponents needing three points to break free from their current positions in the standings
"We need to be more focused, the game against Kagera Sugar has given us a picture of the difficulty of the games at the end of the league, every team is fighting to break free from the positions they are in right now, my players must be careful and fight throughout the game to reach goals to defend our championship"
"It is very difficult to get three points easily for teams that are in the danger zone in the standings because they need to get out of there, to do that they struggle a lot especially when they play against a big team like Yanga," said Gamondi p>
On Monday May 13, Yanga will be in Morogoro region, Manungu stadium to face Mtibwa Sugar in a game that if Yanga emerges victorious, it can announce the championship early
Victory against Mtibwa Sugar will make Yanga reach 71 points which only Simba can reach if they win all their remaining matches
In addition to being a 'head-2-head' advantage against Simba, the Citizens have also scored more goals than their compatriots who will have to score no less than four goals in each game in order to reach the number of goals that Yanga have scored
>It is clear that Yanga will need to finish the work in Morogoro region so that they can transfer their strength in the FA Cup where the next game will be the semi-final against Ihefu Fc which will be played on May 19
