President of Yanga Engineering Hersi Said said that the goals of the champions of Mainland Tanzania next season is to see them be among the four best teams in Africa and get a chance to participate in the club World Cup championship
Speaking in an interview with Bongo Fm earlier today, Hersi said that currently Yanga is the best club here in Tanzania and they have demonstrated that this season
"Currently no club in Tanzania can come close to Yanga in terms of quality. That's why when many teams play with us, they come with a more restrictive system which means they respect our club"
"My biggest goal is to ensure that our Club becomes one of the best Clubs in Africa. And my wish is to see next year at the International competition we reach the list of the best four teams in AFRICA, so that we can participate in the Club World Cup. yesterday we reached the final and we got many points that will increase our strength to participate in the Cup," said Hersi
Hersi has said that they will continue to improve the squad based on the needs and the important thing is to create a good environment to attract the best players
"Registration is an art, you must know why you are doing the registration. In short, you cannot stay with your good players all the time, so you have to create a good environment to attract other good players"
"So I took the decision to manage the registration process. When you are a leader you must have a great vision and a great understanding of football"
"You should know that a player is at the peak of his quality, he is having a hard time getting used to the environment, he is tired, etc. If you don't understand football then you will find yourself signing players carelessly or firing players emotionally," he said
