Yesterday the TFF Committee on Laws and Status of players heard the case of player Prince Dube against Azam Fc regarding the contract dispute
Dube opposes the claims of Azam Fc to extend his contract that will last until 2026 after his current contract is expected to expire in July 2024
Inside, it has been revealed that Dube's contract with Azam Fc ends in July this year and the new contract claimed by Azam Fc is not in the TFF registration system
According to the rules, in order for the contract to be valid it must be registered and confirmed by TFF otherwise the contract is not recognised
The committee has promised to deliver a verdict on the saga on Saturday where Dube's lawyer; Respicius Didas has said that he is confident that his client will be treated fairly by the Committee
Last month, Azam Fc announced to put Dube on the market while claiming to have already received two offers from Simba and Al Hilal of Sudan
However, Dube insisted that he does not want to be sold, what he needs is to break his remaining contract to join the team he wants
