Yanga Information and Communications Manager, Ally Kamwe has made it clear about the injury situation for the CAF Champions League quarter-final match against Mamelodi Sundowns to be played on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium
Speaking to journalists earlier today, Kamwe said midfielder Zawadi Mauya has already started training and is ready for the game against Mamelodi Sundowns
"Zawadi Mauya is ready to do a great job against Mamelodi Sundowns. Kibwana Shomari is doing well, Yao is still 50/50 he tore his hamstrings"
"Pacome was in the Ivory Coast squad against Benin and is fit for more than 80% and Aucho continues to prepare himself against Mamelodi Sundowns," said Kamwe
It is clear that Yao is the only one who may not be ready for the first leg game but he may be back for the second leg game to be played on April 05 in South Africa
