Yanga's doctor Moses Etutu has said midfielder Khalid Aucho is doing well and can be used in the next game of the NBC Premier League against Namungo Fc which will be played on Friday, March 08 at Majaliwa Stadium, Ruangwa.
Aucho suffered knee injuries in the final game of the Champions League group stage against Al Ahly. The game was played in Egypt, Yanga conceding a 1-0 defeat
Aucho could not finish the 90 minutes of the game, his place being taken by Salum Abubakar 'Sure Boy'
Etutu said the injuries were not serious, what they did in the game was to rest him so that he would not suffer more damage
"It is true that Aucho suffered knee injuries in the game against Al Ahly. They were not serious injuries, we took him out as a precaution to protect him from further damage. He is fine and the teacher can use him in the next game," said Etutu
Aucho has been an important pillar in Yanga's midfield this season
