At 11:00 p.m., the Tanzanian national team 'Taifa Stars' will be at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Karhogo to face DR Congo in a game that will decide the fate of the Stars moving forward in the Afcon 2023
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) has put on the table the promise of a big lump for the players if they win the game and qualify for the playoffs
Taifa Stars need a win against DR Congo to have a chance to qualify for the playoffs either directly or via 'best looser'
Currently Stars have one point in Group F while Morocco leads with four points, DR Congo and Zambia have collected two points each.
The Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports, Dr. Damas Ndumbaro has said that the TFF has pledged Tsh 1.3 billion for the Stars' victory
Dr Ndumbaro has said that the promise has been made to increase the motivation of the players and he believes that the players will fight to the last drop to win and put Tanzania on the new football map
