Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi has expressed his satisfaction with the signing of attacking midfielder Augustine Okrah noting that the player will contribute to his squad
However, Gamondi has insisted that he must fight on the training ground to guarantee himself a chance to play
Okrah was signed by Yanga in the small window coming from Bechem United club in Ghana
He is one of the three players signed in the small window, the others being Shekhan Khamis and Joseph Guede
"I have seen Okrah is a good player, I believe he will add something to our attacking area. However, he must fight in the training ground because our procedure here is that we give a chance to a player who does well in training because what we do in training is what we do in the match. " said Gamondi
Nae Okrah has said that he realizes that he has joined a good team with talented players, so he will make sure that he fulfills his duties well so that he can help the team
"I recognize the quality of each Yanga player, especially the places I play, that makes me connect with them and do well for the benefit of the team, it also gives me the motivation to fight more to get a place in the team"
"I am not a stranger here in Tanzania, I have played for Simba and now I am back with Yanga, I think we will have the best attacking line," he said
