Yanga head coach Miguel Gamondi yesterday quenched the thirst of fans who were eager to see some of the players who have had a limited chance to play this season
It was in the premier league game against Mtibwa Sugar which was played at the Azam Complex and Yanga won 4-1
Gamondi introduced Kibwana Shomari, Salum Abubakar 'Sure Boy', Jesus Moloko and Skudu. All the players had a contribution to the victory
Kibwana showed his best level by providing an assist for the second goal scored by Stephane Aziz Ki while Moloko provided an assist for the third goal scored by Kennedy Musonda while Skudu scored the fourth goal
Gamondi also gave other players a chance in the second half, Gift Fred, Farid Mussa and Crispine Ngushi coming in
If it is the award for the best player of the game, if you take out Aziz Ki who scored two goals, Sure boy is the brightest player and maybe he can change Gamondi's mind and give him more chances
Sure Boy was a 'master' in the midfield cutting power and starting attacks. It will not be surprising if Gamondi starts him in the game against Medeama
Once again the breadth of the Yanga squad was evident in the victory against Mtibwa Sugar yesterday
