Yanga central defender Dickson Job has said that they are progressing well with preparations for the Champions League game against Al Ahly
It is a match to cut with an axe, it will be played on Saturday, December 02 at the Benjamin Mkapa stadium, the time of the game being 7 pm
The game will celebrate Bacca Day as a special game to appreciate and recognize the contribution of defender Ibrahim Bacca
Job said they know Al Ahly are the defending champions of the Champions League, being the best club in Africa at the moment. They will respect them due to their success but they cannot fear them because each team will have 11 players on the field
Job has said that they need to make their fans happy by winning at home, especially considering that they lost the last game against CR Belouizdad
"We are coming back to play against the best teams in Africa and we respect them, but we cannot fear them because the game is 90 minutes and the players on all sides have great ability to play"
"We will increase our focus on getting results but also make sure that we as defenders do not give the opponents a chance to score. We are not ready to lose twice, especially at home" said Job
Yanga lost the first away game by losing 3-0 against CR Belouizdad, however, a win against Al Ahly will restore Yanga's hopes of competing for a ticket to the quarter-finals of the tournament
